Once again, I will suggest Negros Oriental Montessori International School or known as SIMON. My 2 small kinds are studying there. I feel comfortable with the safety when they're in the school. SIMON classrooms are aircondition rooms with a small ratio students-teachers like its almost one on one, students speak english, what do you expect most of them are half pinoys - half foreign. Their phone number is 2256947 Fax 225-6947.

I've been wondering the same thing as my 3rd year old I'm wanting to now get in school. There's a program called ENOPI at Robinsons that is Math and English but 2k a month per subject making it fairly expensive plus only 2 days a week for a short time. From what it looked to me was a waste. Talked to Silliman about their program for 4+ year olds but 3 year olds can get in as well. But for the price and that no staff could seem to ever answer a question or even give me a reason of why I should pick that crossed that off my list.

I've checked with ABC learning center and seems to be the only reasonable option. They said April 11th summer class starts which is a total of 1,500 peso's they said plus we buy needed supplies. They seemed to be a bit better organized so will probably stick my 3 year old in their 3 year old program for the summer and see how it is. Don't really see anything better in options.

By the way, is that your another site Masculado? Upon reading the story on that site, its about a child where a parent was complaining or reacting, for me that is not a basis to look SIMON or Negros Oriental Montessori International School as if not worth for a good education. After all, One kid could not be a basis to a whole. I have 2 kids studying there and they're doing good. Don't expect a child to understand a foreign language right away. In my case, my dad speaks a different foreign language to me, in which my 30 yrs of existence I'm still having a hard time with it. Then my parents enrolled me to a Chinese school from kinder to high school for a reason that I dont get it. I admit I'm having a hardtime there even I got good grades on that school then here comes collage being enrolled in a top Medical school in the country, I have a good grades but I admit I'm still having a hard time and lastly in the University for my masters at one of the top university in Asia, I admit I'm having a hardtime as well even I got above average grades. Speaking about SIMON, I believe SIMON is a good school, I don't see a situation on my kids on what it was claiming on that site that it failed on the education or teaching. I must say that SIMON is a good school. Lets us always remember every child has different IQ level and that will answer the questions on that site.

Friends, chill out, cool it. I believe Grace81 is only asking for our recommendations, so she can decide for herself. There is no need to splash mud/trash on each school that our kids are not into. What I am saying is, we need to be factual and not input hearsay. So let's just stick to the point.

Hi Grace81, i would like to suggest that you visit your prospect pre-school. My wife and I did just that, like check their education-based system, facilities, child-to-teacher ratio, security, or anything that would matter to you. Then you decide.
    Hope this helps.

No, it is my site. If you like that one, wait until my next one about local doctors who misdiagnose and over-prescribe expensive medications to avail of kickbacks from the pharmaceutical companies!

All kidding aside, if your children are pre-schoolers, they probably will have a good experience at SIMON. They have a nice program there. Ms Fuentes, the owner of the school is a teacher first and she truly enjoys the preschoolers. You can see it in her eyes when she talks about it that she really feels that way.

Unfortunately, She is inept as an administrator and the rest of the school is falling apart as evidenced by the falling enrollment. As critical as I am about her administrative acumen, I do have to say she is an enthusiastic, caring teacher when it comes to the preschool. Once you children get to the primary stage, move them to another school.

Thanks for copying and pasting your comment from this thread to my site. It inspired me to make another post. Please do go to the site and read the rest of the articles including the one dedicated entirely to you.
