⌛ Internet connection in Dumaguete

Hi there! My Dad's house is in the Upper Cantil-E Barangay in Dumaguete. Do you know what Internet providers are available for us? I need a fast connection that is fairly "stable."

Does PDLT or a usb atennae my only options? How much are the costs per day/month?

go for PLDT, my friend lives there...its 1,299 for 1mbps and he receives 1.6 mbps all worth the the pay. or globe wimax 1,299 for 1 mbps but when you reach 25gig limit, you'll receive 300kbps until the next cycling month. You can also use those common usb hub connection which globe tatoo is limited for 1 gig per day download...i dont know about smart.

 

How does one get ahold of PLDT? We tried for weeks calling the numbers they had listed on signs posted all around our house, but nobody can seem to tell us if they do or do not service where we live, and now have been waiting for a reply from their customer service for two months!

I think and I'm not sure if there is an ISSUE here in Dumaguete. I myself, applied for a connection on PLDT like 3X. Imagine.... lol! At first I file from their agent here, 2months no response, then I apply online, then a friend help me submitting it to their office at SM Megamall. But on the connection day, the agent was with them, I mean with the PLDT technicians. Wait... let me look for their Dumaguete Agent contact number. Here it is... Nelson: PLDT agent 09283856203
