your post got me calling noreco and asking which areas will be affected by the power interruption and i'm sooooooooo glad my area is not among them (we already had a series of blackouts last thursday and to have another whole-day one on sunday is just too much). was told only feeder 8 would be affected (batinguel, perdices st., rizal boulevard, san jose ext., real st., ma. cristina st.)

my friends abroad tell me power interruptions lasting more than 8 hours are unheard of in their area unless there is a major weather disturbance. my british friend said the last time
they had a power outage in their area in the UK was about 10 years ago and it lasted for only 2 hours max. some days u can simply shrug it off but some days u can't help feeling almost homicidal. welcome to third world country philippines...

Nothings change...its like were living in the 80's lol blackout there and here....when i move back here, i feel the biggest problem on this island "blackout" I wonder what will happen few months from now when the city will be formally opening an economic zone. They cant even sustain the present electricity needs.

Oh yes they can! The problem is that most of the electricity from the local geothermal plant goes to Cebu and Bacolod! :(
