We have been here for seven months now and are still learning about the different packages for cell phone texting and calling. I have discovered that complete information on all of the options is quite hard to find. I have collected some info and thought it might be helpful, especially for those new to the prepaid phone system here (numbers in code indicate price/pesos):

Text to 2824: SUPER150 -- 5 days unlimited calls/texts to Globe/TM
Text to 8888: IMMORTAL10 -- no expiry; 50 texts to Globe/TM; 10 to others

Don't have any info on SMART; if anyone has that info and would like to post it, that might be helpful!

Great info! I agree, what is easy information to find in the U.S. is unusually difficult, or time consuming to get here! If anyone has the info on Smart that would be appreciated as that is what my wife and the majority of our friends use.

try SUNCEL...no need to register...1 month unlimited txt plus free 4 hours of calls just simply buy the "card load sun all txt 150pesos" and load it and it will accumulate by the next month if you don't used it, just make sure you load again on the 30th day. They also has a load card for 1 month unli call and txt, I think its 300pesos *not sure on this 300bucks. They also have the cheapest postpaid Plan 350 -Call and Text Unlimited (Sun to Sun) ) plus 250 free texts to other networks
