Does anyone experienced and surprised to pay the additional tax from your ticket when you're about to depart via PAL upon presenting the ticket when you check in for international flight? How come other airline didnt charge like this like asking for additional payment.

 Additional payment for what? are you referring to the exit tax, for Non Tourist? if you are, this not an Airline tax but a PI tax!

    This may be traveltax.
    Traveltax is 1,620 pesos,not 1,650 pesos.
This 1,620 pesos has to be paid to the traveltax office in the airport and not at the check in counter and is due by:
    -Philippino nationals
    -Permanent residents
-Non resident aliens who have stayed longer than 1 year in the Philippines.

If you buy your ticket in an airline ticket office, it will be included in the ticketprice.
If you buy your ticket online, you have to pay the tax at the airport.

Be careful when buying a ticket from PAL, its NOT INCLUDED, you have to pay for it when you check in. I was always with JAL and China airlines, they didn't charge me for this some kind of fees so I was shocked! Lol!

    Domestic.

No it will not be included, When you fly PAL or CP from Dgte, it is a Domestic flight. You only become an international Flight in Manila, or Cebu! as you should know, when you book an international Flight in DGTE you will have 2 tickets, One Domestic and one International. If you book online it is not included. if you book via an Agent it should be Included any way. Can I ask where you purchesed your international Flight from. Dgte or Manila or Cebu? 9 out of 10 times most international flight Ticket will say, all taxes included ( excluding local departure tax)

I purchased it at Tokyo. A round trip Narita-Manila-Narita via PAL for the firstime...I normally ride JAL or China. China and JAL dont charged me like this when I go back to Tokyo. First time riding PAL for Tokyo (Narita)

It may be helpful if you mention you are traveling on a Filippino passport or another nationality passport.
