Please read my first post, and i am not saying i am too cool to walk, About the license thing, it`s really not a big deal if i were to be questioned, since my motor already has the needed registration and etc, it`s just me..

The correct thing to do would be to park the moto and take a trike, but since no-one pays attention to traffic laws here, I would have someone you know in Manila go to the Recto and get you a fake driver's License for a few hundred pesos.

Once you get on the streets here, make sure and remove your mirrors, never look when you enter the road, just shoot out into traffic, and Never, I repeat NEVER wear a helmet unless you plan on picking up a side job as a hitman then you should wear a helmet (at least when on the job). By just acting like any other law abiding citizen riding around you will not be bothered. Oh yeah, i forgot that you should either unplug your headlight or replace it with a flashing blue LED.

Please read above post, in my city we kinda got used to it on motors, and i`m not saying i`m too cool to walk ,it`s just too far, and about the abiding low, my motor is fully registered with the needed papers, problem is that i don`t have a license and i`m worried about the L.T.O catching me so i`m asking how much % do i have that i might get caught in DGTE.

Joe M... u da bomb dude!

This kid kills me (or will if he rides near me).
Its all legal, well except the I am worried about getting caught breaking the law. lol
    F Me!

    More rules to follow:
    1. Always remember to wear your earpods so none of those ugly traffic noises (horns, ambulances, the screams of people you run over) bother you.
    2. Texting is a MUST. Keep your cell phone in your left hand ready to reply or even talk on the phone.
    3. Carry as many people as possible and remember, the handlebars ARE a seat.
    4. Your time is valuable, cutoff other drivers, race down the road and remember, its your road those other people are just targets and have no value to you.
    5. Smoke and ride baby! Lite the smoke as you ride, thats always entertaining to watch.

If you read the first sentence in my reply you will see what the right thing to do is. Take a trike. There are well over 2000 tricycles in Dumaguete.

As it seems that your prestigious school lacks courses in ethics, just roll the dice and when you get caught riding your moto, pay the consequences but don't cry about it and become a victim. If you break the law, ( in this case premeditating to break the law by asking people what your chances are of being caught) and get caught you pay the fine and go on your way.

Your attitude and general lack of respect for rules is all to common here . Your race always blame everything on corruption, but fail to realize that they are part of the problem because they are corrupt.

Do the uncommon thing and do what is right.

I forgot the most important rule...

    - Enjoy Christmas every day, keep them turn signals blinking!
Traveling strieght make sure your turn signals are on, one way or the other (it dont matter), and make people behind you play, "The Guessing Game".

You, in time will get caught one day, if you have enough money you can take a trike until you get your motor back and do it again. Honestly I wish I was as young as you to face this not so cool situation. If you don't mind getting busted for breaking a not so serious law instead of walking and looking at the scenery then, what can I say? As I said in my earlier post LTO does set up check points. Not trying to respond badly, just my point of view.

All sermons and sarcasm aside, Even if you were old enough to have a license, it is like the wild west here. We took trikes around for a few years because drivers and riders do not share the road well. The Nouveau riche with 4 wheels are also a huge problems. They have more pesos than sense and can't even park their cars by themselves. They are a danger to the community at large.

I went to Manila for a few months and bought a moto because taxi fares and waiting for them or standing in a line 100 people deep was killing me. I needed to get around quickly and the payments and fuel on the bike was cheaper and faster in my situation.

When I came back down here, I brought my new toy with me and to tell you the truth it sits more than it moves. There are so many trikes here and they are a bargain, especially for a local that does not get gouged. It is a great way to get around.

Good luck and stay safe. Come here to take advantage of a good education then go on your way.
