Learned another lesson when it comes to using automatic voltage regulars here. After my Noreco power surge disaster, I began putting AVR's on all appliances. I have them from 500w to 1500w, and I also have surge protector plugs. I got my 500w for my laptop at CD-R King. I saw the prices for a 1000w was a whole lot less than what I paid at Uymatiao so I bought one of those as well at CDR-K. I put my new refrigerator on the 1000w, as I had my TV's on my other 1000w AVR's. Long story short, the AVR kept blowing fuses, two a day. I went back to CR-R King and asked why that is occurring. They said I cannot use their 1000w for a refrigerator, it is only for small appliances. The refrigerator only puts out 140w. So I went to Uymatiao where I purchased Japan made AVR's and talked to the guy and he said the Japan-made STAC 1000w would handle the refrigerator with no problem. So far, so good. Guess you get what you pay for.

Oh...correct me if I'm wrong is cdr k are China made right? My ref is 5ft tall, my avr is only 350v since its only less 200v.No problem so far. Now I understand the difference between branded AVR and the china made AVR. Thanks for sharing here Mr. Pato. I'm about to buy a china made avr, you just save me. Another possibility if fuse boom, check your electric line in your home, fuse boom could be a result of grounded electricity.
