Anyone knowing if Globe is still having this problem ? Since about the time of the first post of Pato I have problems to receive and send messages with my GLOBE celphone from my place. Before it was never GOOD but at least outside my house I had most of the time signal.
I STILL can't use my Globe celphone and wonder if this is a general problem or only at our place here. Of course I can ask at the Globe shop in town.
But I prefer to get first some reactions via our DI forum since I am not too optimistic to get their a satisfying answer after first having cued in-line for some time.
I have NOT been informed yet by Globe that everything is BACK TO NORMAL
Some other forum members having also still problems with their Globe celphone signal strength ?
It is quite embarassing. SMART does not give here the same problem. (Changing to SMART is of course an option -which I will have to take - but I hate to change to another celphone number and throw away the balance of my 2 500 Php prepaid-cards)

John, in Bacong we haven't had a Globe cell phone problem today; however, our Globe internet was misbehaving and off and on this morning.

    Thanks PatO.
I have this problem already for several weeks.
Maybe it's only local here in Zamboanguita or as well at other places where also has never been a realy strong celphone signal.
So I am interested to find out from other Globe phone users in those area.
On interenet the problem here looks reasonable.

i think globe signal can really be quite problematic. i live in dumaguete in a quite remote barangay. i get good signal with smart but we have another cp in the house (globe) and it's a miracle if the signal gets 2 bars on a clear day. the internet connection is erratic as well. sometimes it disappears for several hours or sometimes it says i'm connected but it's so weak i can't access anything at all.

Gypsy, thanks for your reply. I asked last week a woman working in a shop near to the Hypermarkt in Dgte. She had similar problems in her area there.
    I am now convinced.
So I will change from Globe to Smart after my balance is used. Smart has hardly problems here.
