⌛ they didnt give me menu book two times already

i usually go to dumaguete in slippers and shorts. at restaurants they don't usually give me the menu book (unless i go there alone of course) BUT i always demand for it! i usually end up the one paying when i'm with family and friends anyway. never really thought much about it until i saw this read. sales ladies following me around when i roam the shops and eyeing me suspiciously because i'm not fabulously dressed is what annoys me the most. i usually just let them tag along for a half hour or so, picking up stuff and asking them silly questions about it until they get annoyed. and then i don't buy anything!

 

lol i dont like that either when sales ladies follow you. i cant even concentrate sometimes because of it .. so i guess dress codes are needed here???

 

oh I do not think your dress has to do anything with it. I try to look reasonably neat and they follow me as well. I believe its in their job description to hover over you

 

Bounty I think you are quite correct, I still think Cafe Laguna is the Worst, Shame, as I enjoy the place a lot. This is the One thing, that stops us going there more often.:(

so i guess id be more attentive myself to not to let them ignore me. its not that its a big deal for me not having an opportunity to have or look at a menu book, it just makes me think why. and by the way, it was two different restaurants that we went. and the next time, i will demand for it and just not let it pass as it is..
