No not talking about a Big Mac.
I recently bought a Mac computer and I'm in the learning process.
Very impressed with it and some of the apps that go with it.

A question for the Mac users (here in the PI) does "cloud" work here in the PI?

Im now thinking of getting a iphone but only if the cloud app works here.

Also I loaded aperture for my picture but can not get the Mac to recognize my camera or my sd card. it's like nothing is even plugged in to the usb port.

    any help out there?

    Hi,

Can you access the camera through Finder or does other programs such as iPhoto detect it's been plugged in? If not, (and sorry if this sounds dumb, but always start at the basics:smile:) have you tried switching on the camera, while it's plugged into the USB port?

Tried everything I could think of. I have iphoto and aperture.

I've plugged in the camera (yes turned on) and tried using the card in a reader, it just doesn't "see" any of it.

In finder it says no camera found.

On the other hand if I search for pictures using finder it brings up every picture I put on flicker and every picture in my emails.

I've never added any of them and at the time Id never even signed on to flickr

Guess I'll have to have someone out who knows macs and get some pointers

Sounds like you're missing a driver for your particular camera, and with your memory card formatted for use with that particular camera it doesn't show either.

My advice, download the driver from that particular cameras support website.

And cloud apps only up and download as fast as the connection allows.
