    Has anyone tried to send a balakbyan box from Negros to Australia (Brisbane) ?

    Any ideas ? Thanks

    you can send it through DHL or Dumaguete Post Office but post office is a lot cheaper

    :confused: Now I get Confused, I was under the Impression, that the Balikbayan System, was for Returning Filipinos, to their home land, NOT, Visa Versa.
    Maybe! I missed Something???

    My understanding is that a balikbayan box is just a box of stuff, clothes, food anything a Filipino might find of value to send to their relations.

    As I see it its just "a box of stuff" thats why I called it balikbayan. I want to send " a box of stuff " back to Australia.

    I would be surprised if you could send a "Balik Bayan Box" sized Box with the Post and if so I am sure you pay by wight and not by Box size, the same I would guess would apply to DHL, FEDEX....
