I saw this bus of the AyalaLand parked at the Quezon Park today. It was said that they are in an early phase of negotiations to enter the Dumaguete market...

Somethings going on, these big development operations are all coming to Dumaguete, they must know about something coming our way...

Is there something in the works for the geo-thermal powered industrial zone that I read about somewhere?

Come to Bethel Guest House tonight, 6PM, August 24, 2011. Invite your friends!

The thing is, these developers are always on the look for potential areas to develop. They must have found the unique characteristics of our city...

one more thing, what they are selling here right now is not for their Dumaguete project. Well, I hope they will soon start a project here. I saw on TV that they visited the Mayor, and he announced that they are exploring the possibilities of putting up projects here.

    Ayalaland in Dumaguete

Well, with all these developments, I should not be surprised if one day Dumaguete will become one of the busiest and most crowded places in the Philippines. But I hope it's going to happen in the distant future.

    Food for Thought!

Rarity, I will agree, But  It, Sounds like, a Non-Existent Development, to house the None existent, new population, to shop, in the Non-Existent SM.
Only my opinion of course

I lived in Cagayan de Oro before moved to Dumaguete about 6 months ago. Had the same talk there about SM expanding, Ayala coming to town, major new developments, and all that jazz for 2 years. Of course nothing happened and really no major projects even got under way.

So forgive me when I say I'll believe it when I see it! hehe. Everyone hopes will be there city but so many choices can't do it all at once. Also keep in mind do we really want a massive city like cebu or manila with the prices that go along with? hehe

ALI already started their commercial center, Centrio in CDO and if I'm not mistaken, their residential project, Alegria Hills is almost done.

I think development will make make property values go up. So maybe Ayala land might be a good thing...
