⌛ Motor cycle accident.

Does anyone know of a motorcycle accident last night, about midnight, when apparently an ex pat was killed on the Valencia Road?

 

Motor Cycle accident.

There definitely was one, the blood can still be seen, and it was a foreigner, according to my neighbour who witnessed it. I am just trying to find out who it was.

 

I can confirm that Guy is right, there was a foreigner that died in an accident on the Dgte-Valencia road.
From what my Valencia PNP source tells me, the Dgte PNP is handling the case and withholding information for now for some reason.
Whereabouts did the accident occur Guy?

Thanks for confirming that. It happened as you come up the Valencia road towards Valencia, just past the VAP gasoline station on the right, there is a turning to the left, a new eatery is being established called the 'Big Panda', right on this corner. Apparently the foreign rider was going to turn left but overshot, and subsequently on cutting back to take the turn, he was hit by another bike coming down the Valencia road. That is what my neighbour told me who happened to be in the eatery.

Unfortunately, I have no further information at all.

 

I've just gotten word that a Belgium national is in Holy Child severely injured but still still with us and that maybe he's the one that crashed.

 

His name is Benoit, he is a 35 year old Belgian national. He is very much alive with bad head cut, fractures, and very severe concussion. His family has sent money to holy child. He was alone on the moto as he had left my house 15 minutes earlier after a celebration. There are many people checking on him daily and he is getting very good post accident care

 

Thanks Gerry for the information, and I truly wish him a speedy recovery. Do you know where he had his accident, was it on the Valencia road about midnight on Saturday?

 

It was sunday night at aprox. midnight and yes he was making he way up towards Valencia. As he is severely concussed he is not yet able to communicate properly as of last night. So I do not know exactly where the accident happened. I joined today to report on his name and condition and will post more after I see him today at holy child. Also family members will be arriving soon but in the mean time he has great support, morally and financialy if required.
