we went to El Dorado last week and we had lots of fun in the beach. then the children asked us if they are allowed to use the pool. the manager told us that we need to occupy one room and stay there before we can have the privilege to use the pool:confused:. so we didnt use it. then when we're already needed to get a bath and change our clothes, they didnt allow us to use the bathroom:mad::confused:. so what happened is we used the open shower outside and shampoo ourselves and our kids. my friend ask the manager again for some place we can change. and they gave us the diver's changing rooms..:eek::eek:

so that means they cant accommodate walk-in customers??

well, that is pretty normal that the pool is not open for outside guests. There are people paying loads of money to stay in a Resort with pool, of course it should not turn out into a public pool.

Another common policy is that there is a entrance fee for the resort, which usually is consumable plus an additional not consumable pool fee. while in fully booked status outsiders are not allowed in the resort.

When people pay hundreds of Euro to stay at a place, I think it is more than fair to allow them having what they pay for, a Hotel with pool and not a public place.

Of course if you paid the fees to use their facilities you have all rights to complain, if not, I admit I am pretty much on the side of the manager.

you gotta draw a line somewhere, if you allow 2 or 4 people to use, you need to allow it to all, and basically telling your real guests that part of their money is used to clean up after the outsiders left.

well so El Dorado already have some bad reputations about their management.. Does the "owner" know about this? or is this really their way of treating "other" guests....

please help to refresh my memory, where do they have changing rooms other than the dive-shop ? I know of a toilet at the restaurant and a changing room at the dive-shop.

What I do when changing my swimwear, just drape a towel around my butt
and off with the trunks and on with the shorts, simple. :D

I know its more of a problem with the lady's, but I don't mind :D
