⌛ Little Snatchers at the Boulevard??? A Warning..

This is why we need child sweat shops making cheap crap. Catch those runts and teach em a days hard work in a sweat shop. I walk the boulevard almost daily during day and later evening and always harassed by the gang of kids there. I have them a bit scared of me now but they still manage to try and harass me if I'm talking to any gals.... but I still swat them away life flies!

People need to learn the worst thing you can do is actually give those runts anything be it food or money. Rewarding bad behaviour. But I'm the first to support college students selling calendar pens or others actually doing something of value to earn their meal.

Just unapproved a few posts. Don’t think the two involved parties getting married soon.

However, regarding the kids at the boulevard, well we had a long thread about a similar issue before, not involving “kids only”.

My 2 centavos to the “resort-issue”:
No matter if I am in Dumaguete or in another City, when I stay in a City Hotel and wanna visit the beach and use a resort, I always call if it is ok or if they are busy etc.

Here in Dumaguete, I usually go to Mikes Beachresort (they actually have a changing area for outside guests). But I always call in advanced if it is ok to visit. If they are busy with guests or have Scuba classes going on, I go somewhere else. Don’t want my 2 monsters interfering with scuba lessons or being makulit and/or occupying four beachchairs of the in-house guests.

Mike would never say “no” to me, but for me it is a matter of respect to the in-house guests not being in the way. And frankly, that’s where a Resort makes the money, not with entrance-fee and a bite to eat.

I am not defending the El Dorado Resort in any way and there seems to be some kind of communication problem between several involved departments and parties.

Your experience is of course absolutely welcome and may serve others as an example to approach certain situations in a different way.

Having said that, (it is mentioned in one of the deleted posts your experience seems to be only negative) I think everybody here would appreciate if you also take the time to share your overall experience that extensive you take the time to talk about the negative ones. I am sure readers can also learn/benefit from that.

Try a much safer place to dine and party like "LABELED' located along Piapi Beach. The place is safe since it is unlike others which are open and anyone can just walk in like the kids or beggars. One can dine, have some coffee, drink, dance and do karaoke at "Labeled" without distractions.
