We went to Twin Lakes a couple years ago. I don't remember paying anything...but I'll have to ask my wife if we did.

I doubt it because we wouldn't have paid anything just to look at that murky water

I believe in having a standard price applicable to everyone. It is not fair to be charging tourists more than double just because they are not from here. That's propagating poverty everywhere.

Could be worse. I was just reading an article about airline passengers stopped in the middle of the trip when the plan was refueling to cough up an extra $31k to pay for fuel and its happened a few times usually from India. Just imagine in we are told we have to leave by the 2 year mark but if the high and mighty RP Government decided that when a foreigner with at least 6 months here before the trip has to pay an extra "Green Entry" fee to be allowed back in of say $20k peso's to be allowed to go back to his Philippine home.

That's only a bit over 2 USD...what is everybody whining about?

I would be happy to pay the gate fee. It's the road getting up there that is more of a concern to me.

100 pesos entry fee would be fine if it actually went to fixing the road or the place up....
