Just an update about Baslay hot springs. Still in a real mess up there and unusable,the path at the bottom of the steps is gone,the c/r gone, all the pools are still there but in a sorry state with cracks and bits missing. Two of the four lower cottages are also gone. Talked to one of the locals and there is no timescale as to when or if it will be fixed. Great shame as was a great place to chill out with a few beers and a picnic.
I understand that was bought out by some Japanese investors contemplating a resort. That was a couple of years ago.
