Borrowing here is at extortionate rates, mainly because lenders know that promises to pay mean virtually nothing here.... And, the collect the full term interest, even if you pay off early.
yesterday the paper in my home town here in the US said ... credit card defaults are nearing a all time high...maybe promises to pay dont mean much here either
okay ... you think i could get a decent car for 200k? I was thinking put this as a down payment for a brand new.
why not have a look online to get an idea?? The term "decent" means FAR different things to different people and is so vague you're likely to gain zero info.... sulit.com ayosdito.com olx.com adpost.com dumagueteclassifieds.net You can also look here at prior sales to get an idea what has sold. Good luck in your search, Mark
If I was going to buy a used car here i would be very carefull and would only consider purchasing from a foreigner who is the original owner from new,, that way there is a possible chance its actually been serviced at least a bit properly.. Locals buy cars and no maintenance or very little and only enough to keep it running so stay away..Buy new , save for it if possible and you won't have the headaches.. used here to get into shape will cost you the same as new after owning for a couple of years anyway..
