So how are the Roads from Duma to Sipalay? I am thinking of driving from Cebu. I have already driven to Duma from Cebu but am thinking about taking a trip over to Sipalay. About how long is the drive? Any recommendations?

Its about a 4 hours drive (Going through Bayawan), it's been a while since we were there but the last 30 km or so was rather nasty. Rest of the road is great. We always stay at Sulu Sunset.

Made the trip from Duma via Bais, Mabinay to Sipalay. In general the road condition is fine though there may be parts under renovation. Estimated travelling time with your own wheels between 4 - 5 hours.

Thanks Larry and Biker, Looks like fun trip but might want to break it up in Duma. Last time we traveled from Mactan it took us over 6 hours to get to Duma. That doesn't include the nasty rebar that puncture my right front tire only about 5 kliks away from the ferry port. (at that time the high was being renovated with late nite coming and going traffic sharing the same unpaved lane portion. as I scooched to the right to make room for the on coming truck, I pulled too far over not seeing the deadly rebar sticking out of the newly concreted lane .... So there I ws as soon i arrived negors on the side of the road changing a flat tire in the dark with car load of sleeping zombies)

Then you will be happy to know the road is fixed now, the only scooching should be inside the car!
