From what it looks like, the MNL-DGT route on Philippine Airlines is now being serviced by Air Philippines o again and no longer departs from Pals Cenntenial Terminal. When I was playing around on Their website the departure are now says Terminal 3. Is this the newer terminal that laid Dormant for so many Years? just curious, Cheers.....
Pal flights between Manila and Dumaguete are now operated by Airphil Express (formerly Air Philippines)and are flying from Naia 3. Naia 3 started operation in 2008 after long legal battles between the Philippine government and the builders of the airport. Now 3 airlines fly from Naia 3, Cebu Pacific,Airphil Express (some flights) and since last Year ANA from Japan
We were through terminal 3 last month, it was interesting to note that now only about half of Cebu Pacific's domestic flights use terminal 3, the rest use terminal 2. Dumaguete flights use terminal 3. Larry
Thanks both Larry and Firefly.... The main reason of My curiousity was that the last 2 times I flew into Duma from MNL on Philippine Airlines I went ahead and booked Myself in business class for about 40 or so more dollars which gave Me more baggage allowance, separate check in line and PAL Lounge privlages. The way I looked at it was, I was already gonna get nailed for excessive baggage fees at a rate of about 100-120 pesos per extra kilo, so might as well just pay for business class. Well that was then and this is now, and that was also Cenntenial Terminal, so I highly doubt that AirPhil Express has a business class lounge..... the nice thing about PALS Lounge in Cenntenial were the free drinks { Beer and Alcohol included } and the free food, so for someone like Me Who always shows up 2-3 hours early it was well worth it....cheers
From the info I'm getting from PAL, since 2P Express is now part of the Mabuhay Miles Program (Frequent Flier Program of PAL), they will have a Mabuhay Lounge in T3. Info I got was that its now being constructed.
