    Went to a Baptism at San Carlos City, about 3 1/2 hrs (lots of road repair along the way) north of Dumaguete. Nice little town. We stayed at Skyland Hotel in town. They have a great German/American restaurant, good wine list and cold beer. Hotel just average but not expensive.

    Definitely wouldn't call the German restaurant "great", but the beer and wine list is one of the best in Negros.
