The wife and I plan on a 5-6 day trip to Palawan in April, my thoughts were to get on a plane and just wing it - then I read some earlier posts on here (ty PatO) and rethought that plan. Any ideas on which tour company(s) to book with? Thanks, Joe
Joe, Assuming that you are going to Puerto Princesa: I stayed last year at A&A plaza. They were only OK at best, but they do offer a comprehensive package (see their website https://aaplazahotel.com/#). I did a Quest for Less B with the wife and our two grown children. It seemed like a good deal and things went as smoothly as things ever go in the Philippines. The package includes meals, tours, room and airport pick-up. Definitely have dinner at Kalui. Honda Bay and the Underground River are good day trips. Much of the city tour seemed a bit touristy to me. I made them take us to the Iwahig Penal colony. The kids and I loved roaming around talking with the prisoners. The guards were panicked when we went into the maximum security zone. Maybe not everybody's cup of tea. Palawan is a province of the Philippine it is considered as the last frontier of the Philippines. The island of Palawan stretches from Mindoro to Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the South China Sea in the northwest and Sulu Sea in the southeast. https://lineonebus.com/content/virginia-beach-va-to-new-york-city-nyc/
