:soapbox: When it comes to the Barangay, I normally end up Arguing:argue: with the Captain, mainly because he is a Nob Head. Whilst there are days I agree to be a little stupid, This guy actually thinks I am!
To cut a long Story short ( Would not want to bore you all) The money for Concreting our Section of the Barangay Road has hmmmmmmmm disappeared or has Run out, :indifferent: So we are still left with a Dirt road which, After rain is quite treacherous, We have had a Lamp out for some time and people have fallen in Puddles and well just not a nice road when not Lit.

Now Street Lighting is the responsibility of the City Engineers through the City Works Department. In the Outlying Barangays it is down to the Captain and his Posse to sort things out, On Off and change the lamps. My Wife was getting fed up with picking children and the old folk up that had fallen, She bought 4 x 11 Watt lamps for the use of.
Yesterday Evening I noticed that the road was now lit, it is dark at 5.45 so they were lit when I walked the dog.

When I passed one of the posse's house, I noticed WOW Bright lights. :worried: Why so dim on the road? OK! when I get Home out come the flashlights and ladder, YEP! only 3 watt lamp in the Street Light.
This morning my workers Checked the next 3 street lights. All 3 watt.
I asked the Captain when will you do the lights, he said all done Yesterday. As I write this my wife is at his office, OR in hand for 11 watt lamps and a 3 watt lamp taken from the offending street Light.
So as you can Guess the 11 watt lamps are now in the posse members house and Not where we bought them For.:jawdrop:

Denials will not be of Concern for Azon, she is as mean as they Come & Proof is Proof . It is not about the money, it is once again, about Honesty and Putting Peoples Safety before Greed and people in a Position's own needs/wants before those they are supposed to Represent.

    :boohoo: Gripe over.
