That's today's date in Afghanistan (and Iran).......and since nothing particularly important happened on their calender yesterday it appears they had went to bed early so they could come knock on my door about 3 hours after I went to bed. Nobody bothered to tell me they were coming prior to their arrival either. Pretty cool guys these Afghans are. I will remember this on March 22nd. I wouldn't want to be rude and not wish them a happy new year in return at 5AM. On a side note: I wish our calender was set up the same as theirs, very easy to remember. The first 6 months have 31 days, the next 5 have 30 and the last month has 29...unless it's a leap year then it's 30. I can never remember which months have 30 and 31 days on our calender.
