    Meh, every time they strike a peace deal with one of these Muslim groups they always have a bunch split off and form another that still wants to fight. It will never end. Sometimes peace is not the solution. They need a stronger military presence down in Mindanao.

    The Dumaguete City Police Station is investigating reports that members of a group, calling themselves the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters, are extorting money from a business establishment in Dumaguete.

    Supt James Goforth, city police chief, said the establishment, that he did not identify, received a phone call early this week supposedly from the BIFF, asking for money, and saying that something will happen if its demand is not met.

    He said he dispatched his intelligence unit immediately to investigate and closely coordinate with the establishment on security precautions.[​IMG][​IMG][​IMG]
