My dad told once to my darling bana whenever we have troubles on the sea with a wooden local boat he has to tied me in one of the post, its not because I’m a normal pinay who doesn’t know how to swim but it is also a last resort to save a life. He is a mechanic with experienced on sailing a middle(lansa)poor local boat from Cebu down to Zamboanga in the 60-70’s, he had survived short days battling the nature and mental stability.
Because of local stories I haven’t gone sailing with our M23, I had her but without sails, we went on engine-a bloody second hand engine but I requested a very short distance and not in the open sea. Anyways, my darling bana is also married to the ocean so, all I have to do is pray whenever he will go far, he wants to go to Aliguay island and wants to take me, he has 6 emergency torches, 6life jackets, emergency kit, and etc! But still, because of this news, I will never go! NEVER..
Rest in Peace to the victims and condolences to their families..-

From Siaton, Negros Oriental on February 13 and later found in Balabac, Palawan on February 28. What had really happened to the 28-footer motor banca carrying an American, his Filipina girlfriend and four other Filipinos? Now, the American and the girl have been buried in Barangay Mangsee in Balabac over the weekend after their decomposing were found. How about the other four men? Where are they? What has happened to them????

Throw that @ sign in front of username and it will shoot them your post an email to get their attention. I think he is busy fighting the fight for foreigner's right to own property at the moment.

I cant get into the Topic that Tony and Larry are updating daily, so I just posted what I could come up with at this time, I will see if my Connection Holds out to find the Latest and Post if that's OK with you. I sort of resurrected this so I could slip in this other thing that has never got a mention after the initial report but I have spoke to some, with Friends being a part of this family wise. There was me thinking this Fishing things was a Quiet, Friendly sort of Sport?

Expat went out fishing with girlfriend and "experienced" fishermen of gf's relation. They took absolutely no safety equipment (paddles have not even been mentioned) and over-loaded the boat. Motor fails and then is thrown overboard to help keep the boat buoyant when they start taking on water from the waves, they go adrift and die from dehydration. Surface currents take them and their boat to Palawan (or close enough to where local fishermen spot it and bring it on shore). The others were probably not on the boat for the same reason the motor wasn't. My guess is they were holding on to the outriggers so the thing wouldn't sink when it started taking on water. They will either wash up later, they are at the bottom of the sea or the ocean wildlife took care of the remains.
There are pictures of their belongings on the beach/in the boat and of the bodies before they were buried. TV Patrol aired the story last night. You can see it on YouTube if you like (it should start at the correct time). FBI has identified the body of the expat already.-
