    Governor Roel Degamo has ordered an investigation on the jailbreak of a “high risk” suspected leader of a carnapping-robbery gang in Negros Oriental Thursday morning.

    The governor ordered Joselito Bito-on, warden of the Negros Oriental Detention and Rehabilitation Center, to submit immediately an incident report on the escape of Ricardo Ebasan, 44, tagged by the provincial Highway Patrol Team of the Philippine National Police as the alleged leader of the Ebasan-Dinglasa “Akyat-Bahay” (break-in)/robbery group.

    The NODRC is directly under the supervision of the provincial government with the governor as the provincial jailer.

    Bito-on and all the provincial jail personnel on duty at the time of the jailbreak will be subjected to investigation.
