    Given the latest foreigner death, I am warned of the seriousness of depression. If you find yourself in this condition, reach out to family or friends and, if necessary, seek medical help, and try and find an outlet or activity to pull you out of it. Keeping it all to yourself might be dangerous.
    For me, being handicapped, can at times put me in a deep funk. I try and refuse my mind to go into that deep hole by talking with my wife about it, focusing on my boy, and walking and going to the gym as outlets. As some us know, alcohol is a depressant so I limit my intake. Life can good no matter what.

    Outstanding post Pat.
    Its a good idea if folks be aware of this, and see what resources are available there before depression becomes a problem. A network of caring friends and competent professionals are worth their weight in gold....
