    I can see why people live in Valencia, just got back from Chada, lovely and cool at night up there. Got back to bacong and still soooo hot!
    A must try is that rolled lechon up there,so very good.

    LOL - it's been over 90 degrees in the house every day for the past week in Bunao. I am actually going to check out a house on the Bacong-Valencia road today just to find a cooler place.

    The metal roofs with no insulation or venting make for very unpleasant internal temperatures. I've been dreaming of ridge vents and pink fiberglass.......

    I don't really want to know. The US doesn't have a good relationship with Afghan poppy farmers (our solution is to simply ban everything we don't like....making criminal organizations even stronger.)
