SHE'S BACK:happy:, finally after 4 days at the pier, the harbour master declared it's safe for the ferries to sail. Still rough the sea though and the two dogs got seasick:vomit:. Better to be safe than drowning:drowning:

Jim So sorry to hear this. The Weather has eased so I guess she may be able ( if not already) managed to get a message to you, I can't begin to think how many of us would feel at this time, I know when we are in the UK and they are here is one thing but to have this and it is on the Doorstep so to speak.

Jim I do hope things are OK.

    JP:thumbsup:

They do seem to accept things far better than we do, I'm dammed if I would have slept in a chair at the port for a few nights. My mrs got stuck in tampi once as the ferry service were not running,I asked do you need money for somewhere to stay, nah I will just sleep on the floor somewhere here.
Luckily enough the coastguard let the last ferry run but the bus she was on did not go and it was a tough one to get transport back to Dumaguete that time of night.

My wife is one of them, She is stranded in Tagbilaran with her two dogs. That's why I asked on this forum if the crossing to Bohol will be affected by a storm on Saturday. Can't phone her or can't send any messages. She was visiting her Mother and the fiesta. Why she didn't contact the port before she set off, I don't know. I don't even know where she is sleeping, the two dogs are the problem nowhere to put them, suppose PH won't have kennels.
