    Putting on a DI get-together next week on Wednesday from 2-5pm. First dibs goes to Gerry's on the Beach (a forum sponsor). First round of beer will be on the house, pizza will be buy one get the second half price.

    I would like this to become a regular event (either once a month or every other month). We can alternate the locations from north/south/downtown Dumaguete so that people can make it to these get-togethers in the future to accommodate as many people as possible.

    Comments/suggestions welcome for future events.

    Nice to see all you guys. Good to see the elusive "Shadow" again as well. Gerry's at the Beach handled the crowd well.

    Family is very welcome as we have a nice sandy beach, grassy area for chilling by the water, fresh water outdoor shower after a swim and new clean cr's. Again we are located at km10.9, About 1.5 kms south of Bacong Market heading towards Dauin. Look for the sign on your left just after the bridge, turn to the ocean and park behind the bar on the cement or on the beach.     Agree completely! Had a fun day and enjoyed putting faces to online friends. Gerry pulled it off without a hitch. Ice cold beer, friendly service and the chili con carne I had was great.

    Cheers to Dustin for organizing our DI meet & greet and for Gerry for his generous hospitality. Beer was ice cold and food delicious. Great seeing those who could make it, hope to see more at the next one.

    I'm not sure that I will be able to make it either, but I would be willing to contribute as well. Either to you or someone else in the same situation. Just let us know what your expenses are for getting here. If I'm not able to make it, then maybe Dustin could cover my contribution and then I could get him back.
