No, I don't understand why people think it is worth their time to argue over who's imaginary sky daddy should be forcibly recognized by a government. I think that any government that forces people to recognize a religious day wrong. Is it right that Muslims cannot use the banks here for almost a full week because of Christmas? Is it right that they lose several days of wages because of a religion they don't believe in? Why does any religion feel the need to force observance of their holidays onto nonbelievers? If a business owner wants to close the doors for a certain holiday or let certain employees off because of their personal beliefs that is fine, but governments should take no part in that. I think religion is all a bunch of nonsense.
