Health & Wellness Best Posts in Thread: Good Children's Dentist in Dumaguete

Thank you one and all for input and suggestions for a first time Dentist for my daughter. Unfortunately I took my daughter on Friday last week (as wqas first chance I got and she was beginning to complain of tooth ache). Well, unbeknownst to me it was a local holiday here so almost all the Dentists were closed. I ended up driving around and went to the two suggested Dentists above and either couldn't find them (I am new to Dumaguete) or they were closed due to Holiday. So, in a desperate situation to find a dental clinic open for a complaining daughter I finally found a Dentist who was open across from the General Hospital (I live in Bagacay and was desperately driving all over looking because nothing worse than seeing a child in pain). I found one finally a Dr. Sensano, he did a very good job with my daughter. He was very patient explaining everything to a 3 year old and thoroughly professional.. He initially did a temp filling to ensure the tooth could support a regular filling and we went home with no more complaints from her as pain was gone. She ate a big diner and had no pain that evening or the next few days so we then returned yesterday to have the permanent filling done and it was uneventful as Dr. Sensano had already put my daughter at ease the first time and resolved the pain. Everything went smoothly and my daughter is again the mostly happy and sometimes pain in the *** average three year old and she likes dentists as they take care of pain.

The cost is P500/filling. He did a great job especially on a Holiday with no appointment and a grumpy 3 year old in pain. He only does Non-Amalgam fillings for those interested. His number is 0906-522-8642. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a regular filling with a nice Dentist.
