Perhaps there are logical reasons for all the shootings?

    Shooting 1.
Sounds like gang violence to me.

    Shooting 2.
    More gang on gang violence.

    Shooting 3.
Wonder why she didn't report? Perhaps she knew why she was being shot at (I suspect most people do) or maybe she feels her clan/people/gang can "take care" of the incident better than the police and courts?

    Shooting 4.
Maybe shooting incident number 3 and 4 are related? The family of his last alleged victim might be on the top of my list.....but then again someone like this guy likely has many enemies. No matter the case it wasn't like he was just some guy going out for a Sunday stroll minding his own business.

    Shooting 5.
Gee....I wonder who could be behind that one? What's cheaper......filing charges or having someone "deal" with him?

    Shooting 6.
No idea but I'd guess it wasn't a random bullet finding some random guy.

All except the last one seem like gang violence or people taking the law into their own hands (and that's probably just because we don't know the whole story of the latest shooting). The "war on drugs" empowers the gangs and the p*ss poor judicial system makes some people feel as if they have to take the law into their own hands. I don't think that Daro, or anywhere else in Dumaguete, is very dangerous for law abiding Filipinos or foreigners.

The second article about Mr. Katada is interesting as the police searched his parents home but not Mr. Katada's home. And the drugs were found in the helper's room.

Quote: The illegal drugs paraphernalia were recovered inside the room of two female helpers, who said they could have seen or noticed the “shabu” when they cleaned their room. Unquote.

This whole thing smells fishy.....not as fishy as wifey frying dried fish, but fishy nevertheless.
