⌛ 1st Day in Dumaguete

Greetings All!

Today is my 1st day in Dumaguete, it was a long couple days of traveling from Arizona but I made the journey without any major issues : )

Where's a good place to grab dinner and a cold one on a Sunday night? Anyone want to trade some expat/local's tips for beers!?

Don't worry Jelly, I'm too late to react myself. I just slept hard from noon to now. Getting used to this 15 hour time difference is going to be tough : /

 

welllll Jelly, I am since 4 weeks in a trainingscamp with the Dane...

I guess you are up for a last man standing competition on Sept 26

Did I ever mention that I look for competitors, not victims ??? But as you are my friend I am ok with breaking my rule :D

 

Sorry my friend, but on that day I have to go to a birthday party of a friend of mine. He lives as well here in Dumaguete and I have there to show how you have to stay still calm after the 10th bottle and not to have squeegee eyes, half sleeping and looking if it is the last hour of your life and soon being transported to the nearest by hospital to undergo a complete recovery program.

Maybe you are invited also on Sept 26 by that guy because you know him well so we still can compare there :D:D:D

 

Sounds like it's a Rhoody v. Jellyfish drink-off tonight at Casablanca! First few rounds of beer on the new guy (me) if you can share some local's knowledge between smack talking :D

 

Well JJ, within some hours I have to go to Dumaguete to pick up my sweety since she left me for 5 days.
No ....no what you might think :D.......she visited again her parents.
So I will pass Casablanca at 4 PM and see another friend at 4:30 at Coco Amigos.
So between 4 PM and 4:30 PM we could consume a beer or five :D
Make yourself (in case you can be there) recognisable by wearing 2 caps on your head.
Btw....Rhoody won't be there at that time because he has to work (is probably still under guidance of the Dane in Angeles City) and he NEVER drinks before dark (he promised me once .... the liar ! :D:D)
But I must give him a compliment for keeping that promise nearly always.

 

Sounds like a 4 PM half hour beerathon at Casablanca (on Rizal). I will have an orange shirt on in honor of the dutch and your friendly offer to share some knowledge (also since I did not bring any hats to PI)!
