There was also a shooting (killing) last week in Tanjay City of a Fireman that had lent money to another Tanjay City resident. Seems the debtor cleared it with murder. No good deed goes unpunished
and in particular as life becomes more cheap in the Philippines. I knew the man first hand but will not disclose his name here. He was very well liked and an honest law abiding citizen and left behind
Wife and children. What is very disturbing is it has been over a week and no mention comes out of any article via news within Negros Oriental. Does Tanjay City even have a daily news outlet, or is the policy "what happens in Tanjay stays in Tanjay" unless the Negros Chronicle picks up on it. One thing is clear.... Tanajy City needs an online presence to report daily news and the fact they don't have one is very telling.

Seems like the "city of smiles" has a serious gun violence problem. So much for their excellent reputation for being friendly and welcoming to foreigners...
Edit: Holy cow, that is just behind Don Bosco school. Way to close to a school for my liking. I hope the girl makes a full recovery.-
