Garupa tried giving me the special foreigner price. 50k for a crown.
She wrote up a treatment plan for my wife for 20k. We agreed and then the price went to 25k when the wife went back.
I went back to the US and got a crown from my regular dentist for 43k and my wife went to Dr Ong for a lot less.
Ong does good work at a fair price.

 

Upon returning to the US, I immediately took my daughter and myself to the dentist. We both received dental care there the years we lived there (Dumaguete), however, my daughter still had 5 cavities that were overlooked (they don't routinely do x-rays there) and I had 3 cavities, and the crown I got before returning has to be replaced because it isn't seated properly. I have to say the dental care there leaves a lot to be desired. I wish they concentrated more on basics (cavities, prophylaxis, etc..) and less on putting everyone in braces.

 

I have been looking for DR. Garupas office that was by immigration and now have found it.

She has moved up the street just past the Metro Bank on the RH side on Locsin St.
