During the night thieves pried open the crappy locks on my front window and reached through the gaps in my security grill to steal my Apple MacBook Pro laptop then used a long stick to snatch my bag with my iPhone, wallet with cash and expired iCard [original in safe]. We heard my dog bark but for only half a minute then he stopped? Thieves climbed a tree next to my block wall and stepped on the barb wire and hopped into my yard. Police came and took the report. Will try the FInd my Phone Apple Capbility when the iStore opens.
    Dog demoted to Private.

I found out there are 4 stages you go through when your house is robbed
First - shock - wtf, go to BDO, BI, Globe, iStore
    Second - anger, really po'd
Third - depression, loss realization about 120,000p but moreover 4 1/2 years of my boy's pictures
Fourth - go forward plan with action items
So no one injured, thieves couldn't get in the house, could have been worse.

I now have 3 dogs, CCTV cameras, extra steel welded to all the grills, two sensor lights replaced with all night LED lights, and chopped down the tree they climbed up to comeover the 7 foot wall with barb wire, and several bolo knives. After the fact, but maybe this will help others.

I've set up a simple defensive perimeter. 3 claymores and we let the 4 pythons out of their cages.

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you Pat. I hope that you get your stuff back, the pictures are always the hardest things to replace.

When I was having my place "broken" into my first three stages were just pure rage....when I found out who was behind it it took everything I had to not go wrap my hands around the little b*tches throat. I feel for ya.

Could you please stop injecting US news/politics into every thread? There is a designated section of the forum for that. Warnings will start to be issued from this point on.

Sorry to hear that Pat. I suppose as just down the road from you I'll need to be on the lookout also. Its not to hard to climb the common kind of gates they use here mostly if your in shape as a kid I climbed them all the time and over in seconds. Hope you can get the Apple Store to track your iPhone and if they do hopefully the police are already trigger happy after Duterte's win.

Oh Boy Pat, Sorry to hear this, Over the years you surely have had some problems down there. Did the Police say if there had been a Spate of Break ins or Do you think you were a target? I am sure others in your Area would like to be kept informed on this.

Electronic alarms can prevent most burglaries. There are some at Matiao and Handyman. Often what they sell is more like an automatic doorbell that goes off when anyone walks within its range.
