    Duterte says he is going to ban fireworks nationwide.
    So if you are going to do it you better hurry before he shoots you.

    By the way, they do a lot of things here everyday that are illegal so I wouldn't use that as a guide. Open burning is illegal, loose dogs are illegal, and on and on.

    We just got married last month and in our contract for the venue we had to agree not to light any fireworks....
    This was in Sta. Monica Banilad, not the cheapest in town... but we had a very happy setup there.

    Well rule the thumb is as long as you dont set the fireworks near any flamable material/house then thats ok. There is no actual ordinance nor national law that prohibit it

    it depends if you want topnotch quality, then i recommend pyroworks or diamondfireworks, however they normally open a kiosk only during december in Robinson. or you could get it at Lapulapu City, Mactan Island where they make fireworkds all year round, transporting it is another question as it may require permit to transport (somtimes :smile: )

    though i heard some of the firework maker in Lapulapu City relocated to dumaguete though cant confirm where they are located.
