Maybe it's a matter of "he doesn't need them any more".
In my opinion shoes, even poor quality shoes are generally expensive in the Philippines. I'm going to bring 6 pair of decent quality canvas deck shoes when I come back. Canvas breathes, is almost as cool as slippers/flip flops, I can run in them if I need to cross the street, I can wear them while swimming in the ocean so I don't have to worry about stepping on glass, metal or sea urchins and I can toss them in the washing machine to clean them. I'm wearing a pair right now, Ralph Lauren Polo brand and of decent quality that I bought for $25 US and they are comfy!

Recently I have been noticing that in all the pictures I see of dead drug dealers they all are barefooted.
I was under the impression that drug dealers were wealthy. At least the ones I see on TV are. Gold, Diamonds, Sexy Women, Jet Planes, Luxury Yachts.... and at least a dozen pairs of AIR JORDAN's.
Has anyone seen dead drug dealers wearing shoes or is this just another war on the poor?
Please.. SHOW ME THE SHOES...-

This is the Philippines, not Miami Beach. They were most likely wearing slippers (flip-flops) which easily fall off or taken off. I probably wear shoes less than once a month.
