    Sulpicio is long gone, 2Go is the only boat from Duma to Mnl.

    You did not want to be on a Sulpicio boat anyway. I was on one years ago, the toilets were overflowing and sewage was running out onto the deck, BEFORE the boat left the dock!

    Maintenance? They didn;t know the meaning.

    from wiki;

    "As of August 2013, the company's vessels have figured in five major maritime disasters with a total exceeding 5,000 lives lost.[3]"

    It seems like Aboitiz (2Go) have been buying up all the shipping lines to eliminate competition. You could try taking Cokaliong to Cebu and then finding another ferry that goes from Cebu to Manila (just a suggestion as I have not tried it.)

    Have you considered flying? Its not that much money if you book a promo in advance. It what I do and I have managed to get return tickets for 2 for under 5,000 at certain times of the year.

    Sulpicio gone; owners change name. CEBU CITY—Technically, Sulpicio Lines Inc. ceased to exist after it changed its name. The owner and operator of the ill-fated MV Doña Paz is now known as Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp.Dec 20, 2012
