    Some people trying to explain that it takes 5-7 'working days' before getting passports back. this is really due to government now not paying for overtime in many departments including BI. So 2 trips to office for their 'customers'! where this get 'tricky' is your visit to J Mall in Mandaue, Cebu. for the ECC exit visa, this also gets expensive! Be sure to allow at least 7 'working' days because the backlog is growing quickly, this is a "Work to Rule" situation, no less.

    Correct, except you CAN do a one way in (say from LAX to NAIA) provided you also have a ticket out (could be a cheap ticket from Clark to Malaysia so long as it shows you have a plan to leave the country)
