I work in Korea and none of my staff are worried about the bravado going back and forth, though I do have a friend working in Japan that says folks are tripping a bit there. I personally have no worries.

Just in case I am told that the USA is threatening NK and so NK has the right to obtain nuclear weapons, I reply now that if NK had not acted in the past in such an aggressive way and was willing to strike a diplomatic deal, there would be no crisis. North Vietnam did not possess nuclear weapons but won its war against the USA and its use of conventional weapons (not nukes, even though it owned them). I am not sure what the USA or any country thinks about a communist-governed united Vietnam, but they appear to be getting on very well economically and functioning as a State without the need to acquire nuclear weapons. Although the analogy is not exact (in that NK should never be allowed to govern a United Korea), there could be much trade and other co-operation between NK and SK and peaceful coexistence is not at all impossible. The only problem is that NK is ruled by a nut-case who is in great danger of miscalculation and that miscalculation need only be minor for the end result to be major. As a UK citizen, I am proud to have the United States of America on my side and would rather endure 1 million years of their rule than 1 year of NK's ideology.-

If a potential killer is acquiring one gun per week, then would you stop him when he has one gun or ten or one hundred? For those who (quite rightly on conscience) do not want military action against NK, they need to consider at what point the problem becomes too big to handle without unimaginable loss of life.

The fact of the matter is that no North Korean missile landed on anyone's head, let's get that straight. The only thing that was injured was Japan's and America's ego. The fact that it landed near Japan is irrelevant because it was in international waters and it wasn't armed.
Every country has a right to have a nuclear bomb if they so desire. America thinks they own the world and have the right to decide who can and who can't.
Nuclear weapons should have been banned 60 years ago worldwide and if there is a nuclear war now we deserve it for being so stupid.-

China needs to get her finger out, she's spouting off at the US that this needs to end peacefully. Yet refuse's to start sanctions against NK. Sames goes for Russia.
