    Now this really does take the biscuit. :facepalm: Some time ago there was something Reported about pensioners being asked to sign for something that they would be receiving. Now my mother-in-law (94) signed one along with her Friends when the DWSD Visited the Barangay Hall at one on the pensioners meetings in July. This 2000 peso has not been received by many ( If any at all) of those concerned as Stated in this Article;
    DAILY STAR: Negros Oriental
    Yet it would appear the DSWD have receipts to support this, added to which, Many have not had their pensions paid Since April of this year. Now Luckily I have a neighbour who is a section Head at DSWD and she has said she will look into it? but I have also contacted a Lawyer for the Pensioners to look deeper into it.:eek:
    Shame on these People who purport to look after the Aged then treat them Like this.
    I held this off until today as it was another Negative but what can we do when the City and DSWD don't give anything Honestly Positive to post. Hopefully it will turn into a Positive soon.
    BTW was it not the DSWD that received so much of this 900 billion? excess from the Yolanda Donations.
    It is not that they don't have the money then EH?

    The only thing I would be surprised with would be if the government actually did their jobs.
