There is this new place called "Esturya," it is on Hibbard Ave between Aldecoa and Tarbush. They have really good pizza. I love their Truffle pizza! to die for man. Thin crust wood stove oven. Definitely worth it!
I stand corrected. It is a brick oven they use for the pizzas. I saw this youtube video called Esturya and it features the restaurant. I am not at all related to the guy in the video nor do I have any claim to the restaurant itself. I just love pizza.

For here, I only eat pizza at Pasta King. Cost a little more but acceptable (notice I didn’t use delicious, great, Chicago style, etc). I haven’t tried it at South Beach, wonder if it is as good as Gerry used to make there?

PK FOREVER
Pasta King consistently delivers amazing food and great service. The pizza is the best in Dumaguete (I've tried them all) and the tomato based pasta sauce is perfect. They offer free delivery to anywhere in the city and they have a great selection of wine. ORDER THE TIRAMISU. this place if perfect for foreigners who need a taste of home during their travels, or locals who want to spice up their eating experience! The Filipino dishes are also tasty and come with unlimited rice. PK FOREVER!!!-

Italian Pizza Prosciutto Crudo (and the prosciutto being from the black pig) out of a brick oven...Oooooh, perfetto!
But I know you just won't find even low grade prosciutto in the Philippines (or high grade in the US), so I make due with what is available.-

I'm a pizza nut and have yet to find an even moderately good pizza here. That said there are many styles of what people consider good pizza. As a former New Yorker, that's my primary notion of what constitutes good pizza. Absolutely nothing like that here. But there are several West Coast style wood fire pizzas that are passable: South Beach Grill is decent, and surprisingly so is Bambulo. None of the chain places are edible, though my wife likes Greenwich, so we go there occasionally. Of course none of this helps Dave, whose primary concerns are delivery and cost increases.
Personally I'd pay serious money if anyone could make a decent pizza. I might have to beg the wife to try-

For those who ever make it to Cebu City try S&R Pizza at the S&R or Ayala Mall (SM Mall one isn't as good though). Pizza by the slice or order a whole for think less then 700p and its a 16" 6 slice pizza (order whole and they can cut any slice count you want). It tastes like a decent American pizza of course no where as good as some pops pizza place in NYC or so. This tells me the ingredients are available but no one wants to deal with shipping in from Cebu City or Manila everything they would need and keep enough of a quantity going to offset shipping expenses.
