    Declaring a "Smoke Free" environment because you outlawed smoking is like declaring the Pasig River or Manila Bay "Pollution Free" because you outlawed urinating.

    Rather easy. Away from the Boulevard. Then of course outside downtown. Like Flip Flops etc. Even further out town, there is no problem at all. Happy smoking :smile: I quit 18 years ago and I regret only only one thing: Why I was so stupid to start this this useless and killing habit at all. But don't worry, I'm not a militant non-smoker. Up to you........

    times got harder for us guys with the bad Smoking habit, so let's share some official (or secret) places where we are still allowed to smoke in the heart of Dumaguete City. I start with
    - The Honeycomb at the Boulevard, they have built up a tent on the street
    - Casablanca Restaurant at the Boulevard, new built Smoking lounge at the dining terrace
    - Sans Rival, the main branch at the Boulevard, you can smoke at the balcony on the 2cnd Floor
    - Sta.Teresa Resto in St.Juan Str., a side street to the Boulevard, they have a patio and the friendly staff brings you also an ashtray
    any more good hints?
    no comments of militant non-smokers, plz

    Haven't been to Flip Flops since last year, but they allowed smoking there too. I'm a non-smoker or maybe a reformed smoker, quit some 20+ years ago. I never held anything against a smoker who was enjoying them self. Indoors I can understand it, but outside in the breeze? I don't see the big deal.

    The funny thing to me is that all of these cities and towns declare themselves to be "Smoke Free" but sell cigarettes on every corner.

    The “smoking lounge” is not a nice place to enjoy a cigarette. Better than nothing but far away from being a cozy place.

    Out of town you can smoke at Octagon, or in Dauin Dive Cafe.
