I live about 120/150M from the Highway and I had a very hard time to get them to connect me. They claimed my internet would not work correctly and the TV would give me trouble, but after two and a half years without Internet here and one snowy channel which I could understand anyways, I was willing to risk it. They used the heavier cable, and put a box out the front (which neighbours can connect to if they wish to avail the TV or Internet, that was the option of free installation knowing not a single one of my neighbours will avail the service) and to date *touch wood* all has worked with very minor inconvenience.

I know now it is a deciding factor in our future choice of where we want a House/to live. It MUST be close to the Highway and MUST have Fil-Products available!

Fil-Products should have told you also that a long (if it is ADSL) connection from the Highway would not work correctly. One of the Resorts here in Maluay was in the process of availing the Fiber-optic so he can provide customers with fast Internet and is confident it will work fine, his Resort is maybe 1200M from the Highway here. I have not heard back if it was successful or not.

Brian, If you pay one year in advance the savings is about 20% (or something like that). I don't have their internet yet but I do know the savings on the cable TV is substantial.
