My niece had a sore back and saw a chiropractor - he said the treatment he was to perform was something he would not have done if the patient had a slipped disc. He did the treatment and she spent 6 months off work, in great pain and unable to sleep on a bed. She actually had been suffering from a slipped disc when she went to see him ..... OR (I am not clear on this from her version) the chiropractor caused it. Either way, shows how careful we have to be when submitting ourselves to any form of treatment (I could give many stories of poor healthcare treatment to people I know by professionals ... not all of whom were 'alternative medicine' practitioners).

YES And mine being a #4 of 5 being the worse i do not want to take the chance of anybody trying to align my spine because it can do exactly what you just wrote about ... seems in my case a steroid shot is the way to try.. along with good massages along the way .

Have you tried a nerve stimulator? Not sure if they are even available there. Might be worth asking about if you go see Dr. Olegario. We used him, and his wife's PT dept, too, when my daughter broke her ankle.

Yes. SMC Dr. Danilo Olegario. I received a Diprospan injection into a rotator cup with arthritis. Only lasted 1 month but sure felt good while it lasted. His wife runs the physical therapy department at Silliman. Also have you thought about Dr. Mike Berovic, the chiropractor here’s?
