    I do not think he was referring to you Brian as you did not post the correlation between employing someone and 'gaining benefits'.

    Occasionally someone arrives on the forum with very negative attitudes but it is not you in my opinion.

    Around Dumaguete you could expect to pay P4000 a month plus SSS and PhilHealth for a normal helper. My gf tells me that 'caregivers' can expect about P500 a day.
    It sounds like you may be looking for something inbetween (with benefits?).
