I gave up on them and opened a PO box at Dumaguete P.O. If you receive a larger package, they will put a notification in your box. Works fine so far (6 months)

Sounds like Valencia!
3 Days Seattle to Manila, Manila to Dumaguete 2 or 3 days, Dumaguete to Valencia 2 days, Valencia to my gate box (1 K.) 1 day to 4 WEEKS!

THEY ARE; Over worked, under staffed and under paid. I believe the Phil Post people are doing a good job considering their work situation. Slow mail is just a price I must pay for living here. The express mail services can be just as slow. JRS Express 3 weeks from Cebu to Dumaguete. With EXPRESS in their name I expected something a little faster.

We live in Pulantubig. We have had a PO Box in the Dumaguete Post Office for 3 yrs and get a notice in the box for packages, large priority packages are about 45 days from the states, mail is quick except in November December when it can be two months. We have mail delivered to the box, never our place (10 min drive). Got a friend in the PO who texts us when we get a package, happy with PhilPost, except in december <grin>...
LBC express from Cebu is 3 days, sometimes 2 (done it four times, like from Retirement Authority). That is to the house, not the box. FedEx, Air 21, DHL, we usually pick up at their office, no waste of time waiting for the delivery..- Informative x 3
